The Vong attack came fast and was without mercy. Their main target was not Kar Alabrek or any of the mining colonies; it was the Simus Institute on Sepros. None but a member of the Clan could have known of the Sith Academy’s existence which confirms it was an inside job. The main force of Varesh Shai, spearheaded by his flagship the Yammka, assaulted Sadow Palace, storming the Institute and butchering dozens of junior apprentices. Many infants and children now lay dead from the assault; it is only the few who were strong enough who fought off their attacks and survived. To help prevent this again in the future, the Academy Masters have decided to step up training regimens in order to better prepare the younglings should another such raid happen in the future.
